Being a sister is more than being a friend. It means striving to love unconditionally with a love like the love that Jesus continually pours out onto us.
In ADX we have three pillars, Social, Spiritual, and Scholastic. These three pillars represent the three main areas where we seek to bond and grow as sisters.
Social
The social events that ADX puts on are truly what begins friendships that carry on throughout the rest of your time in ADX and beyond. With sisterhood events, semi-formal, winter banquet, and formal, there is a lot to look forward to over the school year. Sisterhood events can be anything from corn mazes to crafts to carnival games. These socials are scattered throughout the quarter so there is almost always an opportunity to have a fun night with your sisters. The other events are held at the end of each quarter; semi-formal in fall quarter, winter banquet in winter quarter and formal in spring quarter. These three events are always greeted with high anticipation and excitement after a long quarter of classes. You get to dress up for them, dance if you want, and take tons of pictures with your beautiful sisters that you can cherish forever. Each social event grows us closer together and creates those never-ending bonds that are only possible with a Christian sisterhood like ADX.

Spiritual
The spiritual pillar is the foundation of Alpha Delta Chi. It is the feature that separates our sisterhood from any other sorority. As such we go to great lengths to ensure that each and every sister that joins our sorority is provided the opportunity to explore their faith in a safe environment. This is done through weekly devotionals, monthly prayer meetings, yearly devotional retreats, and much more. We are sorority sisters but more importantly, sisters in Christ, who are devoted to helping each other grow closer to Jesus.

Scholastic
As a chapter we understand that every Alpha Delta Chi member is first and foremost a student. Each of our members are motivated to achieve and maintain the highest academic standards. Our executive board and Chancellor of Scholarship support our members in their studies and encourage them to achieve all chapter and individual academic goals. All members are required to maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA and officers a 3.0 GPA. Alpha Delta Chi works with any member who needs additional academic support to make sure everyone is achieving at their highest ability. Every member is also required to earn 20 “stars” throughout the quarter. Stars can be earned by attending Alpha Delta Chi sponsored study hours, attending professors’ office hours, receiving A’s on exams, projects, or papers, studying with other Alpha Delta Chi women, and more. We want all of our members to achieve success inside and outside the classroom and will support them in whatever way we can.

The Story of our Chapter
Our chapter was newly founded in 2015 on the DU campus by our seven founders. The founders of ADX wanted something more than just a Bible study for Christian women on DU's campus. They found that something more in the form of a sisterhood where we are not only sisters in Christ but sisters through the bonds of a sorority as well.
